Famous Grouse Smoky Black 0,7l 40%

Famous Grouse Smoky Black is a whisky that combines the tradition, quality and characteristic smoothness of the Famous Grouse brand with an attractive smoky touch. Maturation takes place in carefully selected oak barrels, which ensure soft woody and vanilla tones. The smokiness never overwhelms the basic fruity character, but rather complements and deepens it. This blend is ideal for those who want to discover the world of peat whiskies, but prefer an accessible, smooth and balanced style.
The Famous Grouse brand was created in 1896 in the city of Perth, Scotland. Its founder was Matthew Gloag, a wine and spirits merchant, who had a clear goal - to create a whisky that would not only be of high quality, but also perfectly balanced and accessible to a wider audience. The name Grouse (grouse) was inspired by the Scottish nature and hunting tradition, while the epithet Famous ("famous") was added later, when the whisky gained extraordinary popularity.
During the 20th century, The Famous Grouse became the best-selling whisky in Scotland, a position it still holds today. It is a symbol of reliable quality and the honest work of Scottish master blenders. Today, the brand is owned by the Edrington Group, which is also behind the prestigious distilleries The Macallan, Highland Park and Glenturret - their whisky forms the heart of all Famous Grouse blends.
