The Eminente rum house presents a modern interpretation of the traditional Cuban style of rum, which has long been among the most recognized in the world. Behind its creation is the young Cuban maestro ronero César Martí, who became one of the youngest holders of this prestigious title. Eminente was created with the aim of following the historical style of Cuban rums from the 19th century, when they were more expressive, more structured and closer to the aguardiente category – i.e. richer, more aromatic distillates.
Eminente is produced in Cuba, which is the cradle of a light, elegant rum style known as the “Spanish style”. This style is typical of the use of molasses, continuous distillation and subsequent maturation in oak barrels. However, Eminente takes this approach further – combining lighter rums with a higher proportion of aguardiente, which gives the result greater depth, structure and complexity. Thanks to the higher proportion of aguardiente, it feels fuller than regular Cuban rums, but still retains their typical softness and balance. This makes it a versatile choice for both stand-alone tasting and premium cocktails.
The brand is part of the Moët Hennessy portfolio, which places it among premium products with an emphasis on quality, design and global ambitions. A characteristic element is the bottle inspired by the Cuban crocodile, the symbol of the island, whose texture resembles the embossed surface of the glass.
